The Ambassadors
Mark Geyer

It is very obvious that Mark is a big man. Not just in stature but big in
his sincere desire to make life better and safer
for those less fortunate in our community. Sure he was a champion
footballer, made all of NSW proud when he stood toe to
toe with the King, Wally Lewis but it is ability to be a champion off the
field that makes him a stand out person.
Currently he is a proud husband and dad, is a radio & TV star and more
recently deservedly received an OAM for outstanding
charity work. Is this really Mark Geyer? The big knock about guy from
Penrith who many thought would turn out a lot
different!
Mark’s outstanding qualities include respect, honesty, responsibility,
caring, fair and very friendly. Wait a minute aren’t
they the qualities of a fair dinkum aussie? They sure are and there is
absolutely no one more fair dinkum to fly the flag
for us than Mark Geyer.
Mark has been my rock right from the beginning and it is rocks like this
that will rebuild the fair dinkum aussie spirit
bigger and better.
On Australia Day 2013, Mark was announced in the Honours List. He received
an Order Of Australia medal for “service to the
sport of Rugby League football, and to the community through a range of
charitable organisations.
Thanks Mark, you are a pretty good bloke for a Westie!
Greg Page
Yep thats right... The Original Yellow Wiggle!
The entire Nation grew up listening to the Wiggles.
When he retired from the Wiggles due to ill health it took his parents 6
months to answer all the E Mails wishing him well.
The first time I met Greg it was obvious he was down to earth, humble and
genuine.
I actually did not know who he was and I suggested with his height he should
have been a good basketball player.
His reply was “I wish I had been ...I might have ended up famous”.
Greg very quickly became a good mate... he is very generous with his time.
As a trained teacher Greg sincerely believes in the spirit and values of the
fair dinkum aussie.
In fact he attended an international day at his local day care centre and 42
national flags were flying... guess which one
was not there... yep you got it ...the aussie flag.
When you get to know Greg one aspect is very obvious, he is extremely
intelligent and also street smart.
So forgive the pun but Greg will not rest until we all get a wiggle on in
promoting our unique fair dinkum aussie spirit.
Welcome aboard Greg!
Vic Lorusso
The first thought that comes to mind about Vic is “ A real character”. The
second thought is “lovable rogue”. The next thought is “nutter”. I’m sure
you can work out why I think the world of him. He is so enthusiastic and
passionate about FDA.
All he wants is to get the message out so that we develop better overall
standards for future generations.
Vic is a great example of a caring young dad who is not happy with the ever
increasing anti social behaviour in society.
Vic as the eye in the Sky for Channel 10 for the last decade has built up a
cult following who I feel sure will be
motivated by his sincerity to improve our great country.
Does Vic want to get on to promote our project... yes!
But as he would say ...100% nothing less will be good enough for Vic.
His support is very much appreciated.
